University of Connecticut

The University of Connecticut, also known popularly called UCONN was established in 1881, is a public university based on a semester system. It is known for its excellent academic programs. UConn's main campus is in Storrs, Town of Mansfield, in Connecticut.

UConn has an acclaimed faculty and staff with over 28,000 students on its six campuses, including approximately 8,000 graduate students in numerous programs. Furthermore, a thorough flavoring of top-notch curriculums provided for undergraduates. UConn is the only public university in the New England region with a School of Dental Medicine, School of Medicine, and a Law School. Academic programs are offered through the Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Family Studies, Fine Arts, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmacy; the Schools of Allied Health Professions, Colleges of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture.

The tuition and fees for attending UCONN are: In-state: $9,886, and Out-of-state: $25,486. For this reason, there are some students who may need help financially to pay for college.
